The IQ30-A is just the Wi-Fi antenna module — it adds wireless connectivity to an AquaLink RS system that already has a compatible RS board installed. The IQ30-RS is a full upgrade kit that includes a new RS-PS8 PCB board for systems that need the board replaced as well. If your AquaLink RS system works fine but just has a bad or missing Wi-Fi module, the IQ30-A is all you need.

How do I know if my AquaLink RS board is compatible with the IQ30-A?
