Question 1

What does 'renewed' mean — what was actually done to this pump?

Accepted Answer

We disassembled the pump and replaced the bearings with new ones, installed a brand new impeller, re-coated the motor, installed premium seals rated for ozone, salt, and chlorine environments, and upgraded the ground terminal. The motor windings and housing are original Pentair components in excellent condition. This is a full mechanical renewal — not a cosmetic clean-up.

Question 2

What is the difference between the IntelliFlo VSF 011056 and the IntelliFlo3 VSF 011075?

Accepted Answer

The 011056 is the previous generation IntelliFlo VSF — it uses the same variable speed and flow technology with auto-adjusting GPM control, 8 programmable speeds, and RS-485 automation compatibility. The 011075 (IntelliFlo3) is the current generation with built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for direct app control without an automation system. If you already have a Pentair, Jandy, or Hayward automation system, the 011056 integrates just as well and costs less. If you want standalone app control without automation hardware, the 011075 is the better fit.

Question 3

Will this pump work with my existing Pentair EasyTouch, IntelliCenter, or Jandy iAqualink system?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The IntelliFlo VSF 011056 uses RS-485 communication and is fully compatible with Pentair EasyTouch, IntelliTouch, IntelliCenter, ScreenLogic2, Jandy iAqualink, and Hayward OmniLogic. You will need an RS-485 communication cable to connect it to your automation system — contact us and we can help you identify the right one for your setup.

Question 4

What does auto-adjusting flow control mean — how is it different from just setting a speed?

Accepted Answer

Standard variable speed pumps let you set an RPM and leave it. The IntelliFlo VSF measures actual flow rate in GPM and automatically adjusts speed to maintain your target — so if your filter gets dirty and resistance increases, the pump speeds up to keep the same flow. This means consistent filtration performance and more accurate energy management without manual tuning.

Question 5

Is the 1-year warranty from Pentair or from AquaForce?

Accepted Answer

It is an AquaForce warranty — not a Pentair manufacturer warranty. The 1-year coverage applies specifically to the seals and bearings we installed during the renewal process. If either fails within 1 year under normal pool operation, contact us and we will make it right. Pentair does not provide a warranty on renewed or refurbished units sold through third parties.

Question 6

Does this ship the same day?

Accepted Answer

Yes — orders placed before our daily cutoff ship the same day. Free shipping to the continental USA. Call or text (239) 523-6840 if you need to confirm timing before ordering.

Question 7

What does "Renewed" mean?

Accepted Answer

Renewed means the pump was fully disassembled, inspected, and rebuilt before it ships to you. Worn bearings, shaft seals, and gaskets are replaced with new parts — not cleaned and reused. The drive board and motor electronics are tested on professional diagnostic equipment to confirm correct operation. The rebuilt pump then runs on the bench until it meets factory performance specs. It is not a quick wipe-down and relist — every unit goes through the same process.
