The Pentair IntelliFlo3 drive assembly (P/N 356163 / 356163Z) is the variable-frequency drive that powers the IntelliFlo3 pump platform. Pentair treats this as a replace-only component with no authorized repair path — a new OEM unit runs $1,000 or more when available. This AquaForce re-manufactured unit delivers the same performance at a fraction of the cost. Each re-manufactured drive is rebuilt based on its specific failure and condition. Work typically covers the communication and signal pathways, gate-driver and protection circuitry, primary power switching devices, input filtering and transient suppression, and thermal interface materials — addressing what the drive needs, not a fixed checklist. We never use below-OEM-tier components. In most cases we install higher-tier parts than Pentair used originally. The drive is bench-tested under simulated motor load before it ships.
